Our Story
Sunrise Cove Lake Gogebic sits along State Highway M64 in the quiet village of Marenisco, where Lake Gogebic stretches wide and the pine trees stand tall. We've been welcoming guests who come looking for what the northern woods do best — stillness, starlight, and the kind of mornings that reset your sense of time.
Whether you're here for a weekend of fishing, a family reunion, or a solo retreat with nothing but a book and a lake view, our cabins and rooms are set up to feel like home — only quieter.

Lake Gogebic is known for walleye, northern pike, and perch. Grab a rod and cast off from our shoreline or rent gear nearby.
The Porcupine Mountains and nearby state forests offer dozens of miles of trails through old-growth pines and along ridgelines.
Paddle the calm bays and coves at your own pace. Our guests often bring their own watercraft or find rentals in nearby Iron Mountain.
Iron Mountain and Kingsford are just a short drive away for groceries, dining, and entertainment — but the real magic is right here.
